Unipal seeks to facilitate a two-way process of education, providing English-language based teaching in Palestinian refugee camps and introducing British students to a knowledge and understanding of the situation and daily lives of refugees. Unipal sends volunteers to the region to work with Palestinians on a short-term basis in the summer and assists Palestinian student teachers of English with bursaries during their studies at Palestinian Universities.

​OWING TO THE SITUATION IN THE REGION SINCE THE INVASION OF GAZA, WE HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO OBTAIN INSURANCE FOR VOLUNTEERS. WE HAVE THEREFORE BEEN SENDING FUNDS TO VARIOUS ORGANISATIONS TO ENABLE THEM TO RUN SUMMER CAMPS FOR THE CHILDREN. WE HOPE THAT MAYBE 2027 WILL BRING POSITIVE CHANGES AND WE CAN ONCE AGAIN SEND TEAMS TO TEACH IN THE CAMPS.
